In the 1910 Fauquier County census there is listed a James Benton with boarders Elijah Riley70 (my grgrandfather) daughters Ida B. Riley who married an Alexander Allison and a Melia Riley (Permelia) who has two children. One Doc Riley 8 and a James A. Benton 7 months. old.

Doc (as he was called) married and had James, John, Carly, Evelyn, Dorothy and Esther. No dates of birth or name of wife is known. If there is anyone out there who knows, anything of this family, I would like to know. He was living in Frederick, Maryland at the time of death. Get more from the Web.
