I have Scots on the Chesapeake 1607-1830

Found: James McConchie born 1785 clergyman and physician, settled in
Culpeper Co., Va. 1796, married Susan Slaughter, settled KY. 1838

I also found another McConchie but he settled in MD.
William McConchie, clergyman, shipped 1710, settled Portobacco, Potomac
River, MD. Died 1742, probate 1/21/1743. Edinburg
