Earl,

"Cousins" - first, second etc. are in the same generation.

"Cousins Removed" - once removed, twice removed etc. are in different
generations.
Once Removed = one generation apart
Twice Removed = two generations apart etc.

She and your Dad are in the same generation = fourth cousins

You and she are one generation apart = fourth cousins once removed

She and your children would be two generations apart = fourth cousins twice
removed
