Does anyone know if the marriage records of Franklin County list the
parents of the bride and groom? I ordered a marriage record of James Barton
and Susannah Martin July 23, 1819 and it only gave William Martin as
surety. This copy looked like it was entered by a clerk because the
signatures of James Barton and William Martin were written by the same
hand. How can I get an original copy that might give the names of their
parents?

Any help would be most greatly appreciated.
