I'll be traveling to Winchester next week (28th, 29th and 30th) to check BAY family references at the court house and Handley Library.

Would appreciate wise counsel from Winchester area folks - motels with indoor pool? Maps or directions to the old Cedar Creek Presbyterian church area? Better to check the court house for old records before "doing" the library?

Have all of Joyner's and Gray's references to BAY and BAYS (I think), but now trying to get more details, especially when they may have sold and moved away (probably early 1770's to Westmoreland and Washington Counties, PA). Information on a Thomas Bay is particularly sparse, but he is the key person I'm searching for and/or his link to William, James and Hugh BAY(S).
