I am not sure I am looking in the right county for Joseph Bridges, Mary
Reece, and William Dillon. Bridges was granted 65 acres on the drains of
Back Creek in Frederick County by Thomas Lord Fairfax, recorded 8 Aug.
1774 and 390 acres in February 1778. He married about 1764 in Greenbriar
or Frederick Co. to Mary Reece, widow of William Dillon, neighbors on Back
Creek. Is Back Creek in Frederick County as it now exists, and what town
is it near? Was there a Quaker group in that area at that time? Dillon
and Reece were Quakers but Bridges was not. thanks for any help. Margie
