Hi again Frederick County,

Still searching for a date of death and obituary for Allan B. Magruder. I
now know he was a resident of Stephen's City in 1880 along with his wife
Sarah. and died before Oct 1895. (the date of Sarah's death). The 1880
census for Frederick identifies his location as Opequon. The census states
he is a lawyer....perhaps he practiced law in the area.

I believe Allan is buried here in Charlottesville at Maplewood cemetery with
his other family members but the grave is no longer marked. Until I find a
death date and obituary stating his burial I'll never be able to fully prove
he's here. Obituary for Sarah, his wife and Julia, his daughter state he is
buried along side them at Maplewood but I'd sure like his obit to confirm.

Can anybody help or give me an idea where I might look? I'm new to this kind
of research.
