Looking for Joseph Johnston son of Zopher Johnston.
I find Zopher , and his sons, Zopher, and Moses, all 3 in the 1782 Frederick Co VA tax list, but Joseph IS NOT THERE.
I believe Joseph came to Fauquier county, and his son Zopher was born there in 1787. Joseph's brother Zopher was supposed to have taken his place during the rev. war.
