Just a follow up for those who might read this. Ruth Crampton and Thomas J. Jackson lived nr. Berryville which is now in Clarke Co., VA.
The daughter Elizabeth Jackson married her first cousin
Benjamin Crampton(son of Thomas Crampton of Frederick Co., MD and Ruth Crampton's brother)
