I am looking for any information concerning the families of Thomas and Hugh Christy, as well as Agnes and Catherine Rogers. Thomas Christy married Agnes Rogers in Frederick County in 1798, while Hugh Christy and Catherine Rogers married there in 1804. This may be a case of two brothers marrying two sisters, but at this point it is only a guess. I have found nothing on Thomas Christy and wife beyond their marriage record so far.
I have very little on Hugh Christy and his wife. They were probably the parents of Henry and Thomas Christy, born in the Jefferson County, Ohio area. Henry and Thomas Christy migrated to Iowa about 1848. Hugh Christy may have served in the War of 1812.
Any information on these families would be appreciated. Thank you.
