I have asked several people for their documents to support their claim but so far have had no favorable responses. So I agree with you that they are probably just copying the family tree of someone else on the internet. I have requested several books from my local library through inter-library loan hoping to find some type of concrete documentation. I haven't been able to get to the LDS family center for this area yet. I do know that some of my research on Family Search.org has been misinformation so am cautious to take LDS data as true facts.
