Alexander Balmain, according to Frederick Findings Vol 6 Issue 2, was the
Rector of Frederick Parish in Winchester. This is corroborated by the book
Old Churches, Ministers and Families of Virginia by Bishop Meade. Also see

I am researching the Peter Grim, family, He was the son of George Grim of
Frederick Co., Va. Peter Grim married 1783 Frederick Co., Va., Eleanor
Eddy, d/o James and Eleanor _____ Eddy. I know they had two known daughters
named Ann R. born 1784 and Eleanor Grim born 1788, they were baptized in
1788 by Rev.Christian Streit of the German Reform Church. I heard that they
settled in Shenandoha Co., Va. Willing to share info. Thank you Nelson Eddy
