Hi All,

I am new to this list. I am looking for the surname BINNS. I believe my
GG Grandfather, Jeremiah Binns, was married in Richmond on March 31st,
1835, to his first wife, Patience Ann Wilkinson. I found a reference to
this in a book of marriage notices from the Richmond newspapers
1821-1840. I know nothing of his first wife or family. The marriage was
performed by Rev. Philip Courtney. I will be passing through Virginia in
about 3 weeks and want to stop in Richmond for a day of searching. How
can I find out what church Rev. Courtney belonged to?
