Afternoon-
I have several Henrico Co. families all connected to OAKLEY in Henrico Co.
but can't figure out which OAKLEY line is which.
The OAKLEY line (then and present) owned land in eastern Henrico Co. in and
around present day City of Richmond (Fulton Town (Bottom), White Oak Swamp
(near New Kent/Charles City County lines) & present day Highland Springs.
Other surnames that appear on deeds, documents, and marriage related to the
OAKLEY family are: PLEASANTS, VAUGHAN, WADDELL, DEANE (deeds), ROBINSON,
ROCK, HOBSON, CHAPPELL (marriage).
Would be happy to compare notes with anyone who might connect.
