Looking for the following persons in Richmond, Henrico Co.

John McROBERTS, born 1823 in Maryland, stonecutter in Richmond by
1850. Married before 1850 to Catherine (possibly LORD?), born 1822 in
VA. One known child, William H. McROBERTS (1850-1928). Catherine
died in Richmond in April 1853. John (recorded as ROBERTS in the 1850
census) died in Richmond in 1891, but may have gone back to Maryland
during the Civil War.

William H. McROBERTS married by 1800 to Elizabeth WANICUTT (1858-1922)
of Richmond - known children were - John (1882) m. Cora Belle
CLEMENTS; William James (1885-1942) m. Myrtle JOHNSON; Henry Lee
(1891-1951), m. Annie; Mary Elizabeth (1895-1946 m. Harry Linwood GUNN
and Bessie M. (d.1968) m. Joseph Axtell SANBOURNE.

In 1850 and 1870 John McROBERTS lived with persons having the surname
LORD. Anyone researching the LORD surname in VA?

In 1870 John lived with Mary VALENTINE, age 68, Lucy LORD, 19 and John
LORD, 3.
