I am trying to connect Peter Cardwell b VA abt 1784, m.Elizabeth Harris(s) in Wilkes Co. NC 1811. Also nearby are Harriss family, mainly a Milley Harriss. This is in the 1810 Census Stokes Co. NC. Trying to find ancestors of the Peter who ends up in Alabama. I know from your postings that the Traylors connect to the Harris line and Cardwell. Trying to see if you have the connection for Elizabeth. On the 1810 census it shows female between the ages of 16 and 25, therefore Elizabeth Harris(s) would have been born cir.1785-1794. Any help would be appreciated. Believe Peter had sons, Nathaniel and Edmund, Margaret(m.Durden and ended up in Florida) and a Susan(m.a McNeal also found in Florida) who also found in Ala with Peter in the 1830-1860 census.
