Message Board Post:
My children have a paternal line through Mary Tucker, who married John Woodson, III. All I know further is that Tucker also supposedly captained the Seaflower, and that he carried tobacco in his hold. Because Samuel's widow Jane married John Pleasants who was in on the cutting edge of the slave trade with Richard Kennon, I have wondered sometimes if Tucker might have also dealt in human cargo.
Their paternal line goes like this --
Samuel Tucker & Jane Larcombe, parents of
Mary Tucker married John Woodson, III, parents of
Benjamin Woodson married Frances Napier (d/o Robt Napier & Mary Perrin), parents of
Mary Perrin Woodson married Joseph Fitzpatrik, parents of
Mary Perrin Fitzpatrick married Michael Wright (and moved to Georgia), Parents of
Michael Wright md. Miriam Clay, daughter of Wm Mitchell Clay
I have a cousin-in-law who has a lot of information on Woodsons, Royals, Fitzpatricks, Napiers, Wrights, Perrins, McGintys, Clays at her website -- http://www.jcsisle.com/woodson.html
The home page is here -- http://www.jcsisle.com/
Hope this helps.
