John,

According to the book Marriage bonds of Henrico County, Virginia 1782-1853
on page 50 it lists

"EGGELING, Edward G. to Margaret BIGGAM. Ann Browning attested to Margaret's
age. John Kloeber, surety, attested to Edward's age. 9 Dec. 1847."

The book was compiled by Michael Pollock.

Virginia's vital records were kept from 1853 to 1896. They stopped in 1896
for reasons of economy and resumed keeping records after 1912. The records
are on microfilm and some vital records are available at the LVA web site.
