Mark, I am sure that Pat Sheild would appreciate any additons or corrections
to
the Morton Highland and Pendleton Co histories. On the website there are a
good
many corrections and one should check that. It is an attempt to diminish the
many
errors, and in time will be of great service to all of us.
There are about a dozen current ARMSTRONG researchers. I was able, when in
Ireland, to pin down the Armstrongs to Co. Antrim & Co. Fermanagh. The Erwins
and Leaches were from Londonderry. Finding records in Ulster is quite a
task. I
am planning a trip next year, too.
In regard to Botkin/Bodkin, it might be good to go to the IGI or equivalent
and see
if there is a preponderance of the name in the foreign countries.
