Hello Vail Researchers

I am looking for any information on Samuel Vail
b 1804 d 1884 in Clermont Co. Ohio.
He was married to Martha John in 1835

1870 census lists Samuel's father as born in New Jersey
and his mother as born in Pennsylvania

1850 Census shows Samuel and Martha with 6 children
David J. b 1836
Elizabeth A. b 1839
Martha J. b 1840 (married ? Brooks)
Ann R. b 1843
Emma J. b1845
George W. b. 1848

I am a descendent of George W. Vail and have his father Samuel's will,
but I am hitting a wall and cannot find Samuel's parents nor a
way to connect into any of the other Vail lines.
