There is a, " Annie James Macgregor", listed with the DAR, Volume 94 page 4 and DAR ID# 93008. She is listed as being a descendant of Lt. Jesse George and she was born in Lancaster County Va.
1. Alonzo L.J. James (b. 1832) m. 1854 Eliza Ellen George (1832-1905).
2. Jesse George, Jr. (d1862), m. 1817 Judith Lunsford (1797-1862)
3. Jesse George m. 1769 Sarah (Lawson) Simmons
Jesse George was lieutenant, 1776-78, in the Va. State Navy. Jesse was born in Lancaster co. Va. where he died.
