All:

This morning, there were 124 emails in the "request pending" email
from rootsweb. All of them were from people trying to subscribe to the
new Northern Neck list, who sent the request to the email list before
subscribing.

I know this is mostly my fault since the first e-mail I sent out said
exactly that. Even though that was corrected in a follow up email
about ten minutes after the first one. (I know this will be a very
savvy list when six people within an hour pointed out the mistake)

So, for those of you who did not suceed in subscribing to the list,
send an email to this link with the word "subscribe" in the message
line and in the body of the text, and nothing else:



You will receive an email back from rootsweb providing you with a link
to confirm your conscription, which you must answer by clicking on the
link provided.
