My interest is Roxanna Burgess, spelled many different ways I've seen.
her brother or so relative may have been William Burgess, and a Louisa
or Lovisa burgess. Her mother was Margaret Burgess. Roxanna said she was
born in Fairfax county, Va in cir 1821/22. There may be some connection
to Ryan Va in Loudoun, Va. And her son James A. Stephens/Stevens married
a Lowe girl. Bren
