d. Sep 1985
Last Residence: 22011 [That's Loudoun Co., Ashburn area, I think]

This looks like a match for your Annie Myers Bell. If you haven't already,
you might order her VA death certificate to see if that documents her parents
as Mahlon H. Myers & Mary A. Shoemaker.

I have not done very much research of my own on this line, so most of what
I offer is "second hand." According to the MYERS pages of the Charles Blair
Tavenner Collection at the Balch Lib., Annie Myers m. Paul Bell. She was
the dau of Mahlon H. Myers and Mary A. Shoemaker.

Mahlon was the son of Israel Theodore Myers & Mary Ellen MINOR. IGI says
b. 10 Oct 1857 in LC; CBTC says b. 1850. He m.(1) Mary Jane COATES in 1878
[CBTC]. Mary Jane d. 8 Jan 1885 at Clarke's Gap, Loudoun Co., VA [Loudoun
County Death Register Index; 1853-1896. BVS:1885:6; Myers, Mary J., WF,
d. 8 Jan 1885, Clarkes Gap, consumption, 26.0.0; p. Calvin & Jane Coats,
b. LC; c/o Mahlon H. Myers husband (inf); 3rd dist.]. MYERS & COATES had
two children: Arthur C. Myers, b. 17 Feb 1878 near Waterford [Loudoun County
Birth Register Index; 1853-1879. 248:25; Myers, Arthur C., WM, 17 Feb 1878,
nr. Waterford, Mahlon H. Myers (inf), farmer, Jefferson Dist., Mary Myers.];
and Lester Mahlon Myers, b. 1883 [CBTC].

Mahlon m.(2) Mary A. Shoemaker in 1892 [CBTC]. Note that in this thread,
Ann Hathaway (27 Jul 1999) says: "Mary A. (Mollie), b. Jan 1865, m. Mahlon
Myers in 1882, d. 11 July 1943, buried in Union Cemetery." "1882" might
be a typo, since his first wife d. 1885. Children of MYERS & SHOEMAKER
[as per CTBC]:
1) Annie Myers m. Paul Bell
2) Elizabeth Catherine Myers (1900-1961), unm.
3) Frederick H. Myers
4) Robert C. Myers

Sorry I can't offer you more documentation, but hopefully, the Tavenner
Collection will offer you some ideas about what to look for.
