Hello. I'm new to this site. I'm looking for ANY information about my
gg grandfather, Darling Jones Allen. According to his bible, he was
born August 16, 1812, Stoney Creek, Lunenburg County, VA. He moved to
Obion County Tennessee in 1840. In 1849 he married Mary Jane Britt
Wright (Mary had previously married a person named Wright).

I found references to a Darling Allen (without the Jones middle name) in
Lunenburg County but dates nor the information about him match. Darling
Jones Allen is not listed as an offspring of Darling Allen.

Any help, ideas, suggestions appreciated.
