I have been researching B.S. Hoffman/Huffman for a long time. He is on the 1850 Kenton Co. KY census with Mary R.. In 1860 he is on the Kaufman Co. TX census as B.S. Huffman with wife Mary R. I have been told that B.S. and Berryman are one and the same. Library in Covington, KY sent info to me; B.S.Huffman in 1850 is a candidate for Covington City Council; 1851 B.S. Huffman listed as candidate for Covington City Assessor; 1853 Berryman Hoffman is a candidate for Covington City Marshall. In the mid 1850's he moved his family to Kaufman Co., TX in the Prairieville area, where I assume he died. Son in my line Thomas Monroe was Constable there and his family lived there. Haven't found where they are buried yet. How do you know that Mary and Polly R. are the same person? That is a piece of the puzzle I am looking for. Peggy
