RUPE: Daniel (1), b. 1834 ?, M. 1850 to Jane MILES (1837-1860?)
John William (2), b. 1851, Death unk. m. ca. 1874 to Mary Jane LINKOUSJohn and
Mary Jane had eight children; 3 boys: Eldridge Monroe Rupe b. 1875 ,
Arthur Lloyd b. 1881 and Victor b. 1914.

Arthur Lloyd (3) was born near Snowville, Pulaski Co., m., 10/1/1907 to Sue
Elizabeth STANLEY, in Radford, VA. All from Pulaski Co. unless noted.

Sue was b. 1886 in Priceman, FranklinCo., VA., dau. of William Green and
Nancy Burnett PHILPOTT, and was kin to many residents of Franklin, Pulaski ,
as well as the towns of Stanley and Burnett, which were named for members of
her family, as well as was the Philpott Dam.
