Doesn't anyone have any info on this old Virginia name? I filed for info on
Dr. Robt. A. Patteson who lived and practiced in Montgomery Co. following the
C.W.
He had married his first cousin, Harriet Woodson Bransford. Any help will be
very much appreciated.

His parents were James Philander Patteson and Sarah Woodson (BRANSFORD).
They were married in Cumberland Co., and both died in 1862, in Appomattox Co.
while visiting from Nicholas Co., (W)VA. Her sister, Mary aka Polly had
married
Henry Patteson: any kin to James? John Hunt Patteson was son of Polly &
Henry.

Cannot locate a Patteson who was father to James.

As I said, help will be welcome.
