Sorry, folks! I misworded my last message re: the above. What would like to
know is:
Who was the FIRST Trigg to own this land?
2. Have come up with another question about another TRIGG place:
Have a photocopy of a brick house - description & location are:
"HARVEY-TRIGG HOME (HAWTHORNE HALL) - Built by or for Mary Harvey Trigg.,
wife of Major Stephen Trigg about the time of their marriage in 1795."
Located north of the Catawba R - east of Borden's Run - 11/2 miles north of
Fincastle VA (Town of Monroe, 1804.
Does anyone know whether this house is still standing & if it is occupied or
open to visitors? Thanks. Mary Jane
