Hi--

I'm wondering if anyone living in the near vicinity of Montgomery Co.
seat would be willing to look at the courthouse for me. I understand
there are some loose Fincastle Co. papers on a top shelf in files or
folios.

I am looking for any record proving Richard Estes recorded land, got
land grant, etc. He lived on Walker's or Wolfe's Creek, both now in
Giles Co. I did find a Giles Co. record mentioning Richard Estes survey
for the land description of Giles deed. So I guess what I really want
is his survey, but that lacking, a search of as many of the loose
records as you are willing to do.

I have quite a library & can return the favor. Please e-mail so I can
explain what I can do in trade. Thanx,
