I have a Jeremiah Pease, b. 1832, son of John C. Pease and Phebe Hall.
Phebe was a daughter of Freeburn Hall and Catherine Pate. Jeremiah was
most likely named after his grandfather, Jeremiah Pate. Don't have
anything on the Pease family, but plenty more on Halls & Pates. Email me
if you're interested. This family lived in the Shawsville area, but John
& Phebe and some of their kids moved to Hawkins Co, TN.
