I am trying to contact a fellow researcher on the John W. VANCIL family. John was born 09/26/1847 in Liberty, Adams Co. IL. and died about 1911 in Camp Point, Adams Co., IL. He married Hester Ann Akers 02/18/1869 in Adams Co., IL. At one time he was the sheriff in Quincy, IL. My main interest is through his wife but am hoping that information on the collaterals may help break down my brick wall. Thank you, Wilma Miller
