I have some descendants of Jan Jurianse using Van Riper (or variant) as
a surname, and others using Jurianse. Which lines used which surname?
(It seems to be Jurrie using Van Riper and Gerrebrand using Jurianse,
if I have it straight.)

Son Jurrie I have married to Elizabeth Steynmets (working down from
the immigrant) and to Helena Van Houten, daughter of Roelof Cornelise
VH and Jannetje Janse Spier (working in the VanHouten line). I also
have Helena married to Hartman Cadmus (from a sheet from the Passaic
County Genealogy Club's Quackenbush collection on Hartman's father
Thomas Cadmus (son of Frederick Tomassen and Tryntje Hoppe) (this
sheet does not identify Helena's parents, but it's the only Helena
I have about the right age.) The sheet also has Hartman married to
Lea Van Horn. Online sources have Hartman C. married to Lea Van Horn
and Margrietje ____, and have Helena VH married to Jurrie Janse (VR)
and to Hartman Vreeland. Can anyone straighten me out on this?
