I am trying to get a handle on some Grants in Spotsylvania County from the
1730's.

They run along "Robinson's Run, a branch of the Mataponey" and adjoin "Col.
John Robinson." Gawain Corbin had one or more tracts nearby. I haven't
been able to find Robinson's grant.

Has anyone done any research in this area? Is Robinson's Run the same as
"Robertson's Run," which appears on current maps as running from Paytes
(the middle of the Orange-Spotsylvania border) to Shady Corner?
