Hi we are Charles and Ann Webb Elliott of Weakley Co, Tn.....please send
any email to
our friend pj at .

During the Revolutionary War while David CLARK and his brother, Jonathan
CLARK, were fighting along the banks of the Yadkin River, David CLARK
married
Charity BOON, in 1778 during his second tour of duty. David CLARK and
Charity
BOON were married in Surry County, North Carolina. David and Jonathan
CLARK's
parents were Bowlin and Jennifer CLARK that had resided in Virginia ??
but David
entered the service from Surry Co, NC and he and Charity remained there
until moving to
Pendleton District, SC at the end of the war. After residing in SC for
about ten years, they moved to Christian Co, Kentucky where they stayed
five or six years before moving
to Weakley Co, Tennessee where David CLARK died there on August 15,
1825. Charity Boon CLARK then moved to Hickman Co, Kentucky and she is
listed in the
1840 Graves Co, Kentucky census living in the household of her son David
CLARK.
David CLARK and Charity BOON had the following children:
William T.
David
Christopher
Silas who married Sarah JACKSON in Hopkins Co, Kentucky October 7, 1821
James W.
Levi

Silas CLARK and Sarah JACKSON along with her brother Nathan JACKSON and
his wife Elizabeth and 7 children moved to Hickman Co, Kentucky in 1824
and two more
children were born there. They all moved from Hopkins Co, Kentucky to
Hickman Co,
Kentucky.

I am posting this to SC, NC, KY, TN rootsweb in hopes someone connected
with any
of these lines can help me fill in many blanks such as:
Where in Va did Bowlin and Jennifer?????? CLARK live? Who were their
parents,
sibling, etc.??
Who was Charity BOON's parents, sibling, etc..???????
Who was Sarah and Nathan JACKSON's parents, sibling, etc....??????
Who were all these people children and later lines?????
Who were earlier line?????
Where is the Yadkin River???????
Any help will be greatly appreciated and we will be glad to share all
info.....we are new
to genealogy and need help bad.......Thank you, Charles and Ann Webb
Elliott
