I'm interested in this Thackston marriage. In the will of Stephen
Davis in Prince Edward County in 1781, after mentioning his wife and
children, he also leaves property to a Sarah Thaxton and an Elizabeth
Thaxton. I have not been able to determine who these two Thaxton women
are but have found two Thaxton wills.
I also have not been able to determine who Stephen Davis is related to.
He moved with his family to Prince Edward from Hanover Co. in 1771
after purchasing land from Robert and Elizabeth Harris.
Thanks very much for any clues.
