I am looking for information on a Richard Jones of Prince George County,
father of Allen Jones. Allen Jones died in Southampton County approximately
1819. His age at death is unknown. I have deduced that his birth was around
1770, however a family story says he fought in the American Revolution,
but I have not checked the DAR records. Allen Jones son William Allen Jones
had a daughter Rochette Rebecca Jones who married my great grandfather
Richard Goggin Grigg of Greensville County.Is this the Jones family you
are researching?
