We lived at 95 !!! Must be the same scheme !!!! Were you on the corner
by a side road that leads to steps down to a lower road ( Forget name )
. We were just on the bend (Now facing school ) We also moved in about
1959/60 I was 11 or 12. I left at age 18 when I went to Uni My parents
remained and still own the house . Dad died last year Mum lives with me
in Nottingham now . My son is caretaker at present as I can't bear to
part with the place It will always be home and I hope to return in a few
years . I lived in Cliff Road( behind fire station ) after I had the
kids and the garden must have reached down to what had been Rifle Butt
Road (or the cemetry )

I used to ice skate also when I was in the 1st and 2nd year at Varndean.
I loved it when they built the new ice rink but sadly it didn't last

Some real interesting mail coming through lately must be the Xmas break.
Angie Wright wrote re "self build at Wilson Avenue". My parents were in
that
scheme we lived there( No 85)from about 1960.
