Searching for the following families in both Monroe and Belmont Co., Ohio.
They came into the area in the early 1800s and most left by 1860, but several
members of each family stayed and there are descendants still living in the
area. Would like to make contact with some of these descendants as well as
others earthing these names.'

All are related. Elisha married Margaret GARWOOD. Children were James

are missing two children. One may have married a TRUAX.
MANN, any descendants of Abraham and Julie Ann LEAK MANN. Includes families
of Clarkson, Ross, Thomas and Makel MANN as well as Clarissa Mann MAPLE (Ed)
DYE, William and Maria MITCHELL Dye. They left and moved to Wayne Co.,
Illinois in the 1850's. Had 9 children. We can only find 4. Matilda Jane
(LEAK), Jesse Lens, Thomas and Elizabeth (WILKISON). Was there a daughter
Maria who married a HUFFMAN? Children buried next to Vincent DYE in Unity

MONROE, Curtis and Phebe (SLUSHER ????, TRUAX ????). Martin VB and Sarah

Illinois with them. Phebe is not a name used in the Slusher family but is in
Truax and the Truax family lived close. Just guessing at this stage. Phebe
dead by 1842 and Curtis died before 1869. Can't find Curtis in any census
record. Children Martin Van Buren born around 1832 and Sarah Elizabeth
(LAPPIN) born 1838. Curtis lived Monroe Co. around Somerset. Martin Van
Buren lived back and forth between Monroe and Belmont Co., Moved in 1880s to
West Virginia.
Any help on the above families would be appreciated. I have a lot of
information on some and almost nothing on other lines. Jerilyn
