MELBOURNE, Fla. - Billy Ray Addington, 71, formerly of Scott County , Va. departed this life Saturday (Aug. 19, 2000) after a long illness.

He was preceded in death by a son, Harvey Addington; parents, Dewey and Mary Burke Addington; sister, Jeanette Isenberg; brother, Carl Addington; and five infant brothers.

Surviving are daughters, Sherry Parker, Louisville, Ky.; Kim Vaughn, Rhonda Rich, Palm Bay, Fla., Tina Lamancusa, Raleigh, N.C.; sister, Betty Oxenshine, Jonesborough; ten grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at the Addington Frame Cemetery at 1 p.m. Thursday (Oct. 5, 2000).

The Rev. Eckel Head will officiate.
