Cheryl,
I, for one, would welcome some discussion of not only Stephen but the whole
Osborne clan. I some time ago became so frustrated by all the conflicting
information floating out there that I put the Osbornes aside. There is the
old Will Daniel information that has been so widely disseminated and for
which there seems to be no real proof, the Hackett -- Johnson publication
that is better documented and the Rita Sutton book to which you refer which
also provides a considerable amount of documentation. The Daniel data states
Stephen was the son of Ephraim, the Hakett -- Johnson book says he was
"probably" a son but states that proof is lacking and Sutton gives the info.
you quote. I would love to see just the Osborne data that is verifiable. An
example is where is the proof that Ephraim was married to Elizabeth Howard?
Yes, the Howards were neighbors but is that proof of marriage?
So, Osborne folks, what do you think?
