I used to have a place on my bookshelf for Judy's books, but they were never
there, so I put something else in their place. That's how often I use them!

Do you want me to put a message on the site that you will be unavailable to
do lookups for awhile? I will do whatever you request.

Our house is 11 years old and my wife is always talking about remodeling -
it was built to her specs. What we are thinking about doing ... we had a
nice big red cedar tree uproot on our property (lots of rain followed by
winds) and about 25 feet of it is nice and straight and large enough to get
some nice boards from. So what I think we're going to do is have it cut
into variable width 1 inch boards, planed and kiln dried and put in a
section of hardwood floor made from that tree. Kind of home grown hardwood
floor. I have a cousin who is in the wood business and he thinks cedar
would make a very nice floor, although I've not seen it in this area, cedar
does last a long time. In any case, if we don't do the floor, we can have a
nice table or something made from it.

So I'll pass on my good luck wishes - I have a long "honey do" list from my
wife, but it doesn't include remodeling - not yet anyway.

take care, keep me updated and I'll do whatever you want to deflect the
requests for lookups.

I'm going to be temporarily unavailable for census look-ups at the ShenCo
website. We're remodeling the house and construction may start next week
and
will last about 4 months. I just received Judy Stickley's fantastic Obit
books
and now I have to pack them away!! I'll try to keep the computer up as much
as possible by moving it from room to room but I may not be available for
days
or weeks at a time.
