This has nothing to do with Nancy Heflin. But my cousin Ella Mae Sealock
born about 1920daughter of Andrew Saffell//Stella Willis son of Dorsey Ward
and Martha Kerns married a Thomas Heflin born around 1920 also. They are
both deceased and lived in Laurel Md. You can find them on Joan Hacketts
rootsweb worldconnect website. It might help in finding some of your
Heflins., Also some time ago I was desperately looking for the name of my
grandmothers parents and you were kind enough to tell me that there were
Rileys around Brandy Station in Culpeper. I got a 1880 R soundex for
Virginia and guess what lo and behold I found her and her famil in CULPEPER
county. I was looking in Fauquier and Rappahannock because that was were
they lived in later years. I have now (thru the overwhelming help of Joan
Hacket) traced them back to Spencer Riley and Elizabeth Conner in 1810.
That little bit of insight you gave me kept me looking again and again.
