Bev,
I am not sure - the LDS site does list Charity as Miles mother. I don't
understand why Miles would name a child after his father's first wife. I
have no documentation on this - if there is a published book with
documentation - I would accept that. I will always take a written document
over supposition and faulty members. I haven't done extensive research in
this area. However, I do have a Claypool Cousin who has done the
