I am trying to find any and all information available about my great-great-grandfather, William A. Hankins, b. in VA in 1810. He had one brother at least named Alexander W. Hankins who was a few years younger than William was.

The brothers both moved to Warren Co., MO in the 1840s.

William married Elizabeth "Betsy" Higginbotham of Russell County, daughter of Moses Higginbotham. Their marriage record calls him Wm. Hawkins.

If anyone knows anything about these folks, please let me know. These two men are my brick wall with my Hankins family.
