Tazwell Co Va deed, book 41, page 58, dated October 8, 1898 between George W. Miller and David Denny and J.C. Taylor in consideration of $700, grants two tracts of land, Tazwell Co, Laurel Fork, of the N. Fork of Holston River, 86 acres and 41 acres, described in a deed from Ellen F. Sheffey to George W. Miller, dated Mart 16, 1885. Reference is made to the 86 acres being conveyed by the Commonwealth of Virginia to Robert Preston and William Crabtree on 14 Apr 1800, and the 41 acre tract granted by the Commonwealth of Virginia to William Crabtree on 7 April 1800. Annotation was made that the deed was delivered to J.C. Taylor on Oct 30, 1913.
