Hiya...

Here's where I need some help. My grandfather George Rhea Nash (1899-1991)
was married before he married my grandmother Isabelle Ellen Brown in 1924. He
left me an old photo album with many photos the family did not know existed.
There are several pictures dated around 1917 of him with an unnamed woman
that I think may be his first wife. He claimed he got a divorce on
abandonment issues because she just up and disappeared one day. My oldest
uncle thinks her name may have been Sally, but who knows. Is there anyone who
has access to a marraige index around this time who can check and see if
there is a marraige for George Rhea Nash prior to 1924?

We routinely make trips to back to Tazewell County but we like to spend our
time hunting out family cemeteries and old homesteads instead of spending
time in the courthouse or records office. That would require a second trip
and would result in many less photographs taken that I post to my website to
share with others interested in the area!!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
