Hi everybody, I'm looking for info on my g-grandma Ula Lavern Vaughn,
born 1870 / 71 we think in Water Valley Ky. She married James C Butler
and moved
to Fulton Co. Ky. My grandpa was born there in 1900 in the upper bottoms
of Fulton Co. He said that the closest town to them was Hickman. It is
said that when she married James, her family cut off contact with her.
Apparently they did not approve of him. her sister Myrtle Vaughn was the
only one of her family that would talk to her. Any info would be greatly
appreciated. I have a photo of James and Ula taken around 1904 or 1905
in Fulton Co. Ky. It's in jpg format. If anybody would like a copy
please contact me at and I will send it right out
to you.
You know what they say "a picture is worth a 1000 words" maybe someone
