According to the 1860 census of Warren county (page 57 & 58, enumerated 5
Jul 1860), Virginia Phillip DARR (age 69 born in VA) and wife Lucinda (age
29 born Virginia) were living in or near Front Royal. Living in their
household were:
Thomas F. age 14
Winfield S. age 13
Phillip N. age 2
James L. age 10/12
all born in Virginia.
The following is from page 121 of: "Peter Lehew of Front Royal, Virginia,
and some of his descendants" compiled by James Huston Le Hue and Edith
Foster, 1967
"LUCINDA LEHEW (Abner, John, Francis, Peter) -- dau. of Abner Lehew and
wife Sarah (Forsythe). Born about 1829 in that part of Virginia which
later became Warren Co. Married 6 March 1856 in Warren Co. to Philip Darr,
son of Conrad and Mary Darr. This was her first marriage, his second. He
was 64, she was 26 at the time of the marriage. Lucinda is listed with her
parents on the 1850 Census of Warren Co."
Hope that this helps.
Regards,
Les
