Under Wm Cambell we find a John Berry who everyone wants to claim! Why

At this point as far as I know my John Berry was living right there still
and could have been the John Berry just as well as anyone. People of particular
interest in the list:
Ben Logan ,Sam Vamce,John Logan,Wm Blackburn, Arthur Bowen(married to Mary
McMurry),Nat Willowby,Jos Black,/
..................
At some point Ben Logan removes to ky. Arthur Blackburn , Ben and Sam Briggs,
and a Wm Cassey are listed as being at Logans Fort sometime ca 1779.

Hugh and James Leeper and Wm Casey are on a militia list of 1777
Also Ben Logan, John Logan, Ben Briggs./
...............
According to the Pope book there is a John Berry in the roll of Lin Co
Ky miltia in 1781.
I don't have any earlier notes and I don't think I would have overlooked
anything obvious as I was lucky to get stuff in my local Sutro lib on Lincoln
CO Ky.

( I presume that this will is correctly inputed)

Will of John Berry
"In the name of God Amen, I John Berry of Lincoln County and State of Virginia
, being of sound and disposing mind and memory, do make and ordain this
my last Will and Testament, in manner and form following, that is to say:

"First I will that all my debts and funeral charges be paid by my executrix
herein named, Also I give and demise unto my two sons , James and William

William McCrackin, to be equally divided between my sons above mentioned.

"And as to my movable estate I will and order that it be equally divided
between my daughters, Betsy, Polly, Sally, Hannah, Peggy, and Jane, and
their portions to be delivered to them at the time they shall arrive to
years of their lawful age.

"Also , I give and demise unto my two sons Joseph and John, all that tract
of land my family now lives on in Lincoln County, and State of Virginia,
and their heirs and assigns forever, but not meaning or intending that
they, or either of them shall have any demands on the last mentioned lands
until the death or marriage of Hannah, my wife.

But I do will and order that my said wife have the whole and sole use and
benefits of the plantation aforesaid, during the time of her natural life
or for so long as she continues my widow and trustee for my children. In
Witness Whereof I have set my hand and seal this the Tenth Day of August

Note: Isaac enlisted in the 5th Pennsylvania Regiment Continental Line
during the Revolutionary War about 1777 when he was only few months over
the age of 13. He was at the Battle for Mammouth and at the surrender of
Cornwallis at Yorktown in 1781.
Note:
Isaac was given a land grant in Mercer Co. Kentucky (actually Mercer Co.,
Virginia) of 500 acres located in Chaplins Fk. In 1786 Mercer Co., Kentucky
came into it's own, being completely formed from the northernmost tip of
lincoln County. In
1792, Kentucky gained statehood, having 8 counties at the time.

Note: Isaac lived in Berkeley and Fredrick County, Virginia Colony, Mercer

Note: It is believed that Isaac was married twice but the name of his first

of Isaac Sr. first wife because of the ten year gap between him and the
other Siblings.
